Is there a weight limit?
Yes. The rental includes 1 ton, and the maximum weight limit is 2 tons. Over 1 ton is $70/ton. Loads over the 2 ton max are not allowed.
Can I put dirt or rocks in the dumpster?
No dirt or rocks unless approved beforehand. Small amounts may be allowed if approved first, but heavy dirt, rock, concrete, or landscaping loads are not what this dumpster is meant for.
What kind of jobs is this best for?
These dumpsters are best for small home projects and cleanups, including garage cleanouts, moving clutter, light remodel debris, yard cleanup, and general household junk.
Can I put mattresses in the dumpster?
No. Mattresses are not allowed in customer-loaded dumpster rentals. They need to be handled separately.
Can I put appliances in the dumpster?
No. Appliances are not allowed in customer-loaded dumpster rentals. Appliances need to be separated for disposal.
What items are not allowed?
No hazardous waste, paint, chemicals, oil, fuel, batteries, tires, appliances, mattresses, dirt, rock, concrete, or anything restricted by the landfill. Dirt or rock may only be allowed in small amounts if approved beforehand.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
Usually no. As long as we know where to place the dumpster and the area is accessible, you do not need to be home.
Can I fill it above the top?
No. The load needs to stay level with the top of the dumpster so it can be hauled safely.
What happens if prohibited items are placed in the dumpster?
Additional fees may apply, and some items may need to be removed or handled separately.
